This is adjustable and used for opening & holding cabinet doors. It has a compressed length of 5-1/2 inches, extended length of 6 inches & stroke length of 1.10 inches. These overhead cabinet door struts are spring loaded to provide a positive lift when the cabinet door is opened. It comes with mounting screws.
