It is a 1/2 inch PEX three way water heater by-pass valve. It is made of polymer. Ecopoly 3-way by-pass valve used to by-pass the water heater with one valve versus two or three straight valves in a normal installation. This new valve simplifies the install & reduces the amount of connections per each by-pass assembly.
